Noah has been sick this week with the chickenpox,

So being at home has helped with some spare time
too clean & arrange my craft room - AGAIN
increases my MOJO :O)

I found a mini album for the Scrapbook Dreams competition,

Also found shadow boxes, frames and other OTP projects,

I've collected over time.

SO I decided to do my .... Kaisercraft Clock.

I used Bo Bunny PP from 12" Timepiece collection,

Lot of distress inks, flowers, pearls and angle wings.

YAHHH...Karen came to play on Saturday,
I so needed to have some creative time with a girlfriend with being sick.

Started with shopping at Art & Crafts in Papamoa,
They are moving to new premises in the mount which
will offer a shop and a cafe, Shop and Coffee. Very cool!!
Oh!! I had to purchased some new spellbinders too :O)

Now to my layout,
I used Bo Bunny PP - Which I LOVE.
The photo was taken of Darren and I camping at Waihi - January 2011.
Recently purchased a Martha Stewart scoring board as I wanted to make

these pleated flowers(not sure what they are called)

They took abit to get the hang of however fun fun and more fun...Enjoy.

A Great Lady I work with.

I purchased the Magnolia Farewell Tilda
( I've been wanting to add her to my collection for a little while)

and made this bright and cheerful card for such a cool Lady!!

So pleased you loved my card Christine and we will miss you heaps!!!

By stamping an uninked Tilda, Showed I had coloured the front.

Gosh... I've been so busy!

I haven't had a chance to update my blog with some layouts

I recently completed at the Bookem retreat.

I wasn't sure if I was going to make it however it turned out I could,

I only packed a small amount of goodies which worked in my favour

as I found I didn't have much to choose from and my layouts just worked with what I had.

Definition - in shades of one colour.

GOSH ... this was hard... however FUN!!

Played lots with distress inks,

Darren and Noah made fun of me over dinner as I had inky finger tips :O)

Choose which of the 5 SQUARES within A Square for my stamped our image.

I've used my Hero Arts set of "Sketch Hearts"

Embossed in black and coloured with distress inks.

I then got carried away using my Distress Inks and

tired to blend colours over a cleared embossed a SU stamp "Love Defined"

This week's Less is More challenge is ACETATE

Gosh this was hard as I only had Acetate Flowers on hand

and as I'm going camping tomorrow for 6 days

didn't have any time to experiment with all the packing I haven't yet started.

LIM comes first :O)

I love all the framed cards I've been seeing on LIM,

So decided to give it ago by using a black marker and also hand stitching.

Happy with the last pink example the best.

I've finished my card and I'm really happy with it
As I don't use this stamp as often as I should.
I did wonder if my double layer butterfly might be outside the guidelines
BUT all OK :O)

Yahh, I now have a small collection of Copic Markers,

So of course I needed a storage container!

I had a empty cookie time bucket from Christmas which was the right height.

I covered the base with bright funky flower PP,

I used my first ever copic coloured stamped images

to help decorate as I hope to see how I improve over time with practise!!

Heaps of room for new copics!!!

The Lid has a stamped image from The Greeting Farm "Cheek Rockabilly"

I do love these stamps!!

On Sunday we returned from seven GREAT nights of camping,

so Monday once all the unpacking was done,

I locked myself in my scrapping room & created, created, CREATED!!!

I've finally finished work and off camping today for 7 days :O)

I have however been working on "Neverending Cards"

Very clever and not that hard, The final results are very cool

and the response back is wonderful.

I have already given one away to a very cool friend for her Birthday but forgot to taken photos!!

This one is just wanting to have the Birthday girls name added to the last blank square & its done.

Birthday Card

I made a birthday card for my boss last week,

A5 size allowing room for everyone at work to sign.

Karen has been so supportive, So what other way to say

Thankyou then a birthday card made just for her.

I purchased this beautiful Hero Arts, Silhouette Grass stamp from Bookem.

Grass and Happy Birthday also stamped inside the card (forgot to take a photo)

Something different from what I normally purchase however makes a great background stamp I thought.

Decided to give Easel Cards a try.

Birthday card for Aunty Legs in Australia,

I did add a flower in bottom left corner before posting.

And a Get Well Card for Lynn from work,

Also added a flower in the right corner before posting.

These were so much fun, really enjoyed making them.
Coloured both stamps with a water pen and distress inks.
